The wooden boat centre is a gem, but hidden away in franklin and easily missed, which is a shame. the centre runs courses for folk who want to build a wooden boat, or repair a damaged on. visitors can take a tour and learn all.... Larry is an owner of a number of wooden boats including the couta boat sylvia and a 30’ lineal rater petrel. he has been a key player in organising and helping build the fleet of coutas on pittwater as well as co-ordinating various activities and regattas for all wooden boats on pittwater..
